With advanced degrees in computer sciences and education, Linda Zelda Neiman began professional life in 1981 on the forward edge of the personal computer revolution, designing graphics and writing code for early educational computer games. Then, with career and family competing for attention, Linda made a life decision late in the 1980s to devote her full time and energy to raising children - promising herself to one day resume her career.

Fifteen years later a promise was kept. With her youngest of four boys a teenager, Linda Neiman returned to the business world in 2003 with renewed perspective, passion, and appreciation for life's sweeter things. After more than a decade of loving, laughing, sharing, and a whole lot of baking cookies, an accomplished woman was ready to share Zelda with the world. Now much more than a middle name, Zelda has become the embodiment of all things sweet, passionate, and above all, meaningful in life.

Infusing her own unique style, sweetness, and inspiration into every taste, Zelda has quickly become a rising star in the gourmet foods industry, and Zelda's Sweet Shoppe the premier destination for hand fashioned sweets on Chicago's North Shore.
